I recently decided that the gallery overview screen looks pretty ugly with all its different sized thumbs. That's why I added some config parameters that lets you define a fix width & height for the thumbnails. If the original image doesn't match this aspect ratio the image is cropped appropriately. Same for the original images!

Then I also decided to have a paging on the gallery overview screen. So if you have 300 images in your gallery you don't have to get listed all thumbs at once. Nice isn't it?
