quotation marks in descrpitions
Hi there,
i'm usin your scripts since 5 years, coz i've never had problems.. now i'm making a site for an italian company and i had the first problems.
1_ for the utf-8 support i've found a guy that posted some code as a raplacement of "gallery.inc.php".. it went ok.
2_ i need to write some description in quotation marks in the gallery description. It does it, but with a slash before the quotation. You can c my result at http://www.divergente.it/gallery.php
Is there a way to fix the quotation marks problem? I didn't find a solution here in the boards..

Hi. I had the same problem, and found the solution.
Open "gallery.inc.php". Go to line 900:
"$replace=array($imgsrc, stripslashes($gal[1]), $gal[2], $me.$getvars."&mggal=".$gal[0]);"
and change to this:
"$replace=array($imgsrc, stripslashes($gal[1]), stripslashes($gal[2]), $me.$getvars."&mggal=".$gal[0]);"
This should remove the added slashes in the description.

wow.. i was waiting for an answear since october.. i thought noone cared, now it's great to hear some news on this argument..
i'll give your changes a try tonight and let you know if it works.. thanks in advance.
