Hi,

I received feedback from users of my rateme site that they are not able to vote the photos and got the message - You did already vote on this item.. when they actually have not vote yet.

On my rateme site, voters would have to wait 24hours before they could rerate the photos.

Pls assist.

Hi, i just tested and it works all pretty fine. I set the expire variable to 20 seconds and i rated one item and tried to rerate but i cold not give another vote before this 20 seconds has passed. (Afterwards i reset the expire to 1 day)

Hi, is there any way we could check on the IP address that had voted for the photos? they still cannot vote eventhough they have not voted before. informed them to try after you had tested it but still unable to. Please advise.

if they cant vote it's just too early for them to rerate. Tell them to be a bit patient and to try tomorrow.

Hi, I received another complaint from voters that they were not able to rate as they received the message "You did already vote this item" when they actually have not even click on any buttons. I cannot tell them to be patient and to rerate again as they have been trying for 3 days and are really unhappy. The contest is ending tomorrow and it would be really unfair for the contestants whose friends have been trying to vote for them but was rejected by the system. Please help!!!

you chose to use IPs for logging purpose to prevent from doublevoting. If now several people shar one specific IP (eg in company network) then just one person is able to vote, the first one. Try to change to cookie logging and see what happens...

I've informed them on several people sharing 1 IP address and they are aware of that. But there are some of them who are voting from home and still cannot vote. If there is no solution to this then i have no choice but to change to Cookie logging
